Soundstorm Amps My Soundstorm Amp Wont Turn On?

My soundstorm amp wont turn on? - soundstorm amps

SoundStorm my turn AMP on custom. I know that heats up when the amplifier is cut to cool, then try again. I never had problems until now. I checked all the cables, fuses and the capacitor, but do not know what is wrong. Light is not lit at all in the amp, but it shows that the capacitor is in power. What could be wrong.

If you have access to a multimeter, I check all incoming and outgoing lines of the amplifier.

Still on the multimeter to connect to the land of the body (bare metal) and check the voltage at the positive (hot) lines, you should get a reading somewhere 11-14 volts. If you do not get a reading, the line will not transmit power. I assume that is the focus, the power to take over if the performance of the capacitor, but what about the stereo-feeding?

If all the positive aspects are very good, hook the multimeter to the positive end of the main amplifier and a hook at the negative end of the speech amplifier.

If you do not get a reading, the country poor / corroded. If you have a reading, which means that the amplifier is screwed and will probably need to maintenance.

You can do with a 12-volt test light, but a multimeter is only $ 20 - $ 25 for a decrease of Home Depot, Menard, WalMart, etc.

Good luck!

easiest way to know whether it is good .. Amp disconnect and try on the car from friends .. not all the time .. I often think subs amp ect PPL is gone .. but I connect to my car and its good .. so try it in the car to someone else .. if it works .. Check the connections loose soil at a distance .. Safety wire to move .. sometimes go wrong .. This man had Best Buy install your hardware and the thread is not so tight that there is no room for work or play. I think it was stretched until they have the bare Courses releases the power cable to the amp / sub to power .. Hope this helps.

1. The capacitor can be fired. or 2 The amplifier may have been fried, you said that overheating can, and the protective device to malfunction.
