Our 18 month old never slept alone. We have to sleep while in the arms and down in the crib. When he awoke, they bring him into our bed.

Most recently, she has the kindergarten children and put a mattress on the floor next to her by one of us. We read a book, then in the crib. She stood there and sleep alone, but if you (do not listen or believe), are up and left. When you wake up and you are there, she goes to sleep. When you wake up and you're not there), she screams and cries for us ( "mamamamama, dadadadadad.

During the 3 days we have tried the Ferber method. We have missed it because she was so terrified, shaken. We could not do it at any time.

It would be nice if she slept on a mattress in our room. The problem is that it forces us to be there at bedtime. So even if they slept on the mattress, then we would have stayed there until she falls asleep, and then click to escape.

It is hard for us because it is the parents who work and filet 8:00 pm (we used) to 11:30 clock.
